Born into two different cultures, the singer Mahakwe Wadike grew up in Nigeria understanding the struggles and persecutions resulting from colonialism. He moved to France in 2006 where he eventually started the reggae/afro band Nai-Jah.

Nai-Jah mixes Reggae and World music, while bringing in the singularity of having a Sousaphone as bass (popular music instrument in New Orleans). This melting pot enriched with some traditional Igbo music, makes Nai-Jah a must see on stage.
